History of Andre Oliver

Andre Oliver began his career working for Pierre Cardin in 1951. Andre opened his own fashion house on 57th street in NYC in the 1950s and ran the shop until the 1980s. His aesthetic was seen in his clothing and accessories available in an array of patterns, textures and colors. His cashmere sweaters for example were available in almost any hue imaginable. He had a love for animal prints seen mostly in his handbags and accessories.
